Kansas Bridges are again ranked the 7th worst in the nation according to the American Bridge and Transportation Builders of America.
The trend is continuing in which Kansas is one of the 7th or 6th worst in the Nation.
Kansas has over 25,000 bridges and many are structurally deficient and in need of maintenance or more through preservation measures.
The Lack of maintenance can be attributed to state leaders taking at least $2.7 billion dollars from the highway program and diverting it to other agencies.
